🏠The Center for Refugee Support is looking for volunteers, ages 16+, to assist with our Summer Camp on Tuesdays & Thursdays June 2nd - July 2nd from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

🎨🏀Camp activities will include arts & crafts, sports, and more!

🚗We critically need volunteers to drive our families to and from the summer camp.

Instructions for Virtus Online Training
1. Go to the Virtus Online training website

2. Click the blue “First Time Registrant” button

3. Select Santa Fe (Archdiocese) as your organization

4. Create your User ID and complete registration

5. Under Primary Location, select Catholic Charities (Albuquerque)

6. Under Role, select Volunteer and write "Volunteer" for Title

7. Follow prompts to sign electronically

8. Select the training: Protecting God’s Children® Online Awareness Session 3.0

9. Do NOT click "Complete Background Check" – we handle that separately to avoid duplicate charges

10. Complete the training

11. Log back in and click Training History → Print Certificate of Completion

12. Save your certificate as a PDF and upload it on the next question of this form

Please complete the following steps:

1. Click here to go to the Driver's Safety Training website
2. Create an account and select yourself as both a "driver" and a "volunteer"
3. Complete the Driver’s Safety Training titled "Defensive Driving Curriculum & Motor Vehicle Report - Santa Fe"
4. Log back in to download your certificate of completion
5. Upload the Be Safe Driver Training Certificate on the next question

To stay within the boundaries of the Volunteer Job Description.
To be dependable. To notify the appropriate staff if you are running late or unable to volunteer on your scheduled day.
To act responsibly and appropriately. To remember that you are representing the agency to the community.
To adhere to Catholic Charities’ confidentiality policy at all times.
To communicate to the appropriate staff anything of significance regarding the client you are working with.
To record volunteer hours on the volunteer hours form and return this to the Volunteer Coordinator or Program Director by the end of each month.
To provide time, effort, and services to Catholic Charities with a full understanding that there will be no monetary benefits and that ownership of projects worked on remains with Catholic Charities.
To acknowledge any conflict of interest with Catholic Charities when being placed as a volunteer by the agency.
To not enter into any contracts on behalf of the agency or undertake projects or activities not authorized.
